How do I become a School Bus Driver?
School Bus Driver Applicants Should:
- Be at least 18 years old with at least 6 months driving experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle
- Be in Good Physical & Mental Health
- Have a Good Driving Record
- Have good communication Skills
- Have a good working relationship with Adults and Children
- Be able to pass a Background Check
- Be able to pass a Random Drug Test
- Have a CDL with P & S endorsements
Interested, qualified individuals should complete a Bus Driver Application form, which can be found:

You may visit our Human Resources or Transportation Departments for a copy
If you do not have a valid CDL with P & S Endorsement, you MUST:

Complete 3 Day Bus Driver Training Class & pass all tests given (free)

Obtain DOT Medical Card/Certification (Approx. $95-$150)

Obtain CDL Permit (Approx. $68)

Contact us about having a Drug Test done at one of our approved facilities (Approx. $63)

Upon completing steps 1-4, contact our office with appropriate documentation and we will schedule you for step 6

Complete 3 Day On-the-Road Training & pass all tests given (free)

Obtain CDL License with P & S Endorsement (Approx. $84)
